Sometimes, when you speak to someone who is being dismissive of you and your ideas, they use a tactic of bullying, thinking that if you cave-in to their behavior, your idea wasn’t so good anyway.
The test that they are giving you is whether you will stand up to them.
If you do and your idea is sound, the smart ones will back down.
If you do and your idea is not sound, they will mock you, dismiss you and send you on your way.
If you just cave-in, they believe your idea was useless.
You are being tested by their behavior and many people will fail.
