Jeff, I currently working for a company that contracts to a major firm. That firm sold a division and is separating the services that used to be combined in Brooklyn and Boston. My company wants me to manage a small site in Brooklyn. If I take on the new additional assignment, my company refuses to pay the current merit increase set to begin in January, because there will be an increase because of more responsibility. However, I can’t have both. Does that seem crazy to you?
