I had a telephone interview and then an in-face one, and then days after they emailed saying they had a couple of questions to ask, which were the same two they had asked me at the interview: availability and why I want this role/where I see myself long term. I pretty much repeated what I had stated in the interview. They said they are down to the last few candidates and we will know by the end of next week. I can only assume the answer I gave at the interview was sub-par, but then wouldn’t that make it easier to cut me out of the running rather than ask it again, no? It was about a two or three-minute phone call.
