What They’re Really Saying #shorts

What are they really saying when they say some of these things to you? Let me crack the code.
When they say they’re interviewing a few more people, what they’re really saying is, “You’re not really our first choice. We’ve got 25 more people to talk to and we’ll be in touch with you at some point when Hell freezes over.”
When they say the job has evolved a little bit since we started interviewing, what they’re really saying is, “You know, we didn’t have our act together and we’re not ready to commit to you because our thinking has changed about the job and you may not be a fit.”
When they say, “We’re still finalizing a few things on our end,” what they really mean to say is, “We’re pretty disorganized. We didn’t have our act together when we started interviewing and now we figured out we got to pull things together and figure out what we really need.”
When they say, “We’ll get back to you soon,” what they’re really telling you is, “Don’t call us; we’ll call you.”
When they tell you there’s been a reorg and they’re reconsidering their options, what they’re really saying is, “Go look at other things; I may not have a job here very long.”
