I wasted quite a few years working for men I didn’t trust.

One tried to cheat me out of money. They both cheated me out of mental energy needed to do my work well while I was fixated on watching my back.

When you work for someone you don’t trust, they steal your energy. Not allowing them to steal it, wastes your energy. I know it did with me.

I should have left sooner but in one case, traded money for a bad environment. In another, I traded money for working with people and management I did not trust. Its hard to see these words and not be amazed at what I put up with
