seagulls | Jeff Altman, Not Big Game Hunter

Have you ever watched a seagull off the side of a boat?

They fly along the side of the boat, waiting for an opportunity.

Sometimes those opportunities are the water; sometimes, the opportunities are from passengers who tossed them food.

There is nothing wrong with the seagull. They do it seagulls do.

There are people in your office to act like seagulls.

They wait for opportunities and pounce on them.

Sometimes, they are opportunities that you’ve discarded.

Sometimes, they are opportunities that you just don’t see but they do.

No matter which they are, the people in your office or just doing what they do, just like a seagull.

If you recognize the seagulls in your office, asked them for what they see that you don’t so that you can learn from them.

After all, their greatest gift is their ability to see the things that you don’t and capitalize on them.
