It is impossible to suffer without making someone pay for it; every complaint already contains revenge.

                                                                                 Friedrich Nietzsche

It is a revenge the devil sometimes takes upon the virtuous, that he entraps them by the force of the very passion they have suppressed and think themselves superior to.

                                                                                George Santayana

This is certain, that a man that studieth revenge keeps his wounds green, which otherwise would heal and do well.

                                                                                 Francis Bacon

Revenge is a poison.

It slowly devours us from the inside and offers temporary and small satisfaction.

When offended, go to the person.

If it’s your boss, go to them.

If it’s a mistake, they’ll admit it.

If they don’t think it was a mistake, plan your exit.

It is impossible to, as they said in the movie “The Godfather,” several all family business. Someone else always has business that needs settling.

The war always continues an devours the parties from the inside out.
