No BS Career Advice: July 10, 2024

I read the US Bureau of Labor Statistics jobs report.
The difference between it (206000) and the ADP report that came out on Wednesday (150000) are jobs created by the government that ADP doesn’t track (70000).
Most of the new government jobs were created by state and local government (60000)
Healthcare was +49000
Social Services +34000
Construction +27000
Add them together and that is 170000 of the jobs created in June 2024
That’s not much reason to feel optimistic for people on LinkedIn. The economy has not been creating jobs for you.
