Almost everyone can do the big things well.

But we noticed the little things even more.

I was listening to a podcast where an analyst was talking about a football player and how he was “a little tight in the hips,” and compare them with another who had a much more fluid range of motion.

Who sees these things?

The people who know that the small differences between players make all the difference.

Who it really care if someone and ran 4.51 and not 4.38? What difference does it make?

Well, after defensive back who runs 4.51 covering the receiver who runs 4.38 that difference the media touchdown or not.

Have you ever studied the people in your work, the really outstanding ones?

What little differences do they do that you don’t?

Pick one of them first and then another and then another.

Don’t just study one; study several.

Start making adjustments to your game and get better results.

You will start to notice better results at work.

And next you have to make sure that people know that you make these changes.

After all, many of them live like zombies going through the motions. You’ll have to wake them up, particularly those in leadership.
