Ditch the objective until they are interested in talking with you.

10 Fatal Resume Mistakes That Will Kill Your Job Search

If you want to get more interviews and you’re applying for jobs online, ditch the objective statement. Focus on the summary that’s keyword rich related to the job they are trying to fill.

They don’t care what you’re looking for until they are interested in hiring you, or at least going out on a date with you which, by that I mean an interview. Once they’re interested, they’re going to start talking about the dowry–you know, salary, benefits, vacation, all the other stuff related to why you should join. But, what you want, until they want you, doesn’t matter to them.

Again, a summary that’s keyword rich for the terms that matter to them, will get you more interviews. I’m Jeff Altman. Visit my website, TheBigGameHunter.us There’s a ton in blog to help you.
