I just finished watching Season 3 of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” and is a quick story that’s told by her father-in-law to her father. The story talks about how the man’s father came to United States, lived on the lower East side of New York and sold pickles but he always want to have goats.

“10 people in a small apartment and he wanted goats,” he proclaims.

“And when he died, he didn’t have any goats. All he had were pickles and dreamt of goats.”

The story is told is an admonition that suggests a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

I don’t know what your circumstances are.

Some people chase goats but at they paid attention to the pickles, they would about everything they have ever wanted.

Some people focus on the pickles and never chase the goats. They long for goats and their absence hurts their soul.

I don’t know what kind of person you are and what you need.

Do you need a coat or pickle?

By the way, it’s a good season of the show and the tough ending to the season.
