Hi! I'm Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. I'm back with another video to help you find
your next position more quickly. Now, this is a video about a job board. Don't. Don't Go
away. Hang in there! If you're interested in working for the US federal government
or you're already working in the federal government the usajobs.gov. So, again USAJobs.gov
is the place to go to when applying for jobs with the US federal
government. It's structured to look almost like indeed. It's got two toolbar . . . 2
fields to fill out. One is a keyword field and you can search by job title,
skills, agency, a whole host of different things. And then there's a location field.
Remember that location can be in or outside of the US because the US employs
people throughout the world. So from the standpoint of wanting to apply for a job
with the US government, this is the way to do it is through this service and
the US federal government hires people who are in the US who are US
citizens. Remember, you're going to need to be eligible for some fairly
low-level clearances but still they're clearances where your background is
going to be checked and there are searches that you can do if you're
already a government employee they will search for other options within
the government . I'm Jeff Altman. Hope you found this helpfuL Mei website is TheBigGameHunter.us
There is much more there to watch, listen to or read to help you find
work. And if we aren't connected on LinkedIn, send a connection request at
LinkedIn.com/in/TheBigGameHunter. By the way if you're someone who needs coaching
as part of your job search, reach out to me. There's a tab at my website where you
can either schedule an hour of time with me or prepay for four weeks of . . . Or
four-hour sessions with me of coaching.. Remember, you don't know how to look for
a job. I do. I've helped so many people find work in my career. And the skills needed
to find a job are different than the skills needed to do a job. Maybe this is
a situation you have approached before and you're not sure how to handle it,
come to an expert. Again, the website is TheBigGameHunter.us. Have a great day. Take
