Messages we deliver have to be congruent with who we are and who we want to become.
If your organization, business unit, department, group listens to the hyper criticism delivered by co-workers who revel in kicking someone when they make a mistake, is that where you want to work?
If customers are delivering messages about what you do, maybe you should listen.
Maybe.
