A dwelling is a residence, such as a house, where people live. However, the way we use the word most often is in the context of “dwelling in the past.” We are living there. We die there.
When we are “dwelling in the past,” we are living there. Like possessions in many homes, thoughts swell to occupy all the space in the dwelling (our minds) paralyzing it with doubt and indecision.
It is very smart to review decisions you’ve made, both the ones that don’t work out and the ones that do.
The problem is in the dwelling. Like in a home, it needs to be cleared out from time to time.
