AI makes writing a #coverletter a lot easier. There is one instance where I don’t think you should use it.

Using AI, cover letters have gotten a lot easier to write, but there are circumstances—particular ones—where an AI cover letter doesn’t really serve you. The biggest one I can point to, really, is when you’re referred to someone.

Yes, you should hit the main talking points about the job. AI can deliver that, but it doesn’t deliver personality. And since you were referred to someone by someone who knows this person, you’ve got something on the line, and they do too. So put a little effort into those cover letters instead of just simply relying on AI to deliver the right information to that person.
