Listen to what is being said.
Are they right?
Not sure?
Ask questions to get clarity on what they are saying and what their opinion is.
Listen for words and phrases that are “charged.”
I don’t mean angry words but words or phrases that stand out from the rest.
Ask them to clarify them.
Are they right?
Ask them for suggestions and change.
Are they wrong? Don’t change but keep them in the loop and win them over.
People who care should always be encouraged.
You don’t know everything.
They may be seeing your blind spots.
