When I get cranky, often it is because I was putting up with something I should not have been putting up with. The result is resentment and irritability where my anger at myself for putting up with something or tolerating something comes out as blame, criticism or snark for others.
Yet, they are not at fault. I am.
I accepted the work, I tolerated the choice without speaking up against it, I MADE THE MISTAKE.
So my crankiness surfaces like muttering under my breath instead of simply saying, “This is not for me,” or “this is not something I want to take on.”
Whose fault is it if I don’t speak up.
Mine.
When do you choose not to speak up? Why do you let others have your power?
