After the original fear and panic set, most have become comfortable with the circumstances that we are all operating in in living in.
People have learned to create backdrops over resume to hide the fact that they are home with their kids even though everyone knows it.
One has learned how to navigate parental responsibilities when each of you is working from home and there’s a young person there, too who wants your attention.
We will be experiencing another adjustment at some point in the future where this episode will disappear like a bad dream and we will be returning to the way it was before.
Discussions of “the new normal” will be proven to be a fiction.
The comfort of our current discomfort will disappear and will all be forced to step up.
What can you do to practice now while you are in your home to prepare yourself for the shock of traveling to work again instead of just popping into an online meeting?
There will be more changes over the long term but just traveling back to the office and seeing everyone again in that environment will be where it enough.
