Tom Brady has spent the past 20 years as the quarterback of the New England Patriots.
He has been a champion many times.
He is often referred to as The GOAT (The Greatest of All Time)
Last season, he was unable to get the team past the first round of the playoffs.
His coach decided his value was not as high as he valued it.
Brady became a free agent and has announced he will sign with another team.
What does this say?
Value changes.
Even the best can be dropped and others may afford you a better opportunity to be paid.
Loyalty to an organization is appreciated and served the team well . . . until resentments built up at his being paid significantly less than younger flashier quarterbacks without his record of success.
It can happen to you, too. Don’t be shocked if and when it happens.
