Being Charismatic Know Your Value

Being Charismatic: Know Your Value | NoBSCoachingAdvice.com

One thing I know with certainty is that charismatic people have an advantage professionally and personally. This is another video in a series about being charismatic

Charismatic people always do better than non-charismatic people. I’m trying to foster behaviors that make you stand out from others. And this video is about knowing your value.

If you walk into a situation, and you know no one in the room, you may feel a little insecure about your presence there. Or if you’re in a meeting, and you really have no idea what the agenda is, you may feel a little insecure, and pull back a little bit.

Knowing your value doesn’t mean being arrogant. It doesn’t mean being loud. But it’s about self-certainty, knowing that you’re walking into a situation that you haven’t been in before, but you’ve handled other situations like this before and done very well. So, your behavior suggests “I’ve got this.” And you can do that with a something as simple as a smile.

When a meeting starts, or you’re in a situation, and you’re starting to connect with people, you know you bring something to the table. You know that you’re someone who can be effective, and it oozes out your pores.

Again, it’s not about being loud. It’s not about being arrogant. It’s knowing that you have value and can contribute.
