The barking dog at your office believes they were wronged.
They may want to share something with you where they are the hero or heroine of the story.
They might want you to play with them.
They may want you to feed them (go to lunch).
The barking dog at your office wants attention.
Sometimes, there are packs of barking dogs, too.
Sometimes, the way to stop a barking dog or dogs is by patting them on the head and going away.
Not every barking dogs you get your attention, and certainly not as much as they may be demanding of you.
