Are They Right?

The voice in your head says you’re not as good as you think you are.
Whose voice is it?
A parent?
A teacher?
A “friend” from when you were young?
Maybe, it was your first boss or a random comment someone made?
Are they right?
Seriously. Are they right?
If you really believe it because they got through the moment of vulnerability, they are right.
But if it is wrong, if the voice that repeats in your head is wrong, stop listening to it and start acting as if the opposite is true.
Allow yourself the peace to know that you have been lied to for decades.
It may try to sneak back in, but you know the difference, become alert to it and repel its power.
That voice in your head is lying. Another voice in there will tell you the truth.
