Being called an All-Star, being referred to as “All-Pro,” is an award or recognition for having a successful season. The athlete is being voted amongst the best at their position or in their field. To be named MVP is the recognition for having the best season of any other in your sport.
Are you someone who could have been named an All-Star? All-Pro? MVP?
Probably not.
Why not?
I remember sitting in a workshop many years ago where and attend the stood up and said he gave 100%, his very best to his wife. The workshop facilitator asked if he did that all the time.
“No, I do it about half the time.”
“So, you are a 50% kind of guy.”
“What do you mean?”
“If you give 100% half the time that makes you a 50% type of guy.”
Are you a 50% employee? Probably.
What can you do to become MVP? An All-Star or All-Pro?
It’s time to step up again and be your best.
