I'm Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. I'm a coach who helps people professionally in
a number of different ways and the question for today is what does the mean
if I applied for a job but the Poston was taken down the very next day
does that mean my application will not be reviewed
maybe I don't think that's probable but maybe someone may have forgotten to take
down the job and your application reminded them that they needed to take
down the job and they'd forgotten that's certainly a possibility the bigger
probability is they have enough resumes and they've decided they don't need any
more they're swamped and they're just gonna go through what they have if they
need to, they'll repost the job if they need more
resumes those are the two biggest likelihoods that exist it's certainly
possible there are other permutations like they needed the slot for another
position and wanted to take it down to make room for someone else
opening and they are going to re-post it once they have enough resumes for that because
employers share slots on different job sites from multiple positions so they may have
gotten, let's say, 20 responses the first day on your job ad, they take it down
post someone else's they get 25 or 30 the next day for that one
they repost yours for a couple of days . . . you get the idea. So does it mean
that you're not going to be interviewed. I don't know does it mean that they have
enough resumes? Probably. I'm Jeff Altman. Hope you found this helpful. My website
