      You can know an enormous amount (as many people do), but if no one knows about you and you remain invisible you are in the pack of people all competing for one job with no distinct advantage.

      thanks for replying.
      This makes a lot of sense.
      Looking back at my last job, before I was let go. I didn’t mix much, just tried to keep my head to the grind stone and be productive as possible. Apperently, that was my down fall.

      @Mike Smith A good lesson learned. Painful but a good takeaway. It isn’t enough to work hard of know one knows how well you do and how good you are.
