Here are some ways to prepare for a job interview. First, research the company and the position. Prepare responses to common interview questions, and then practice your answers by speaking them out loud, ideally, practicing them with someone else.
Prepare three stories that follow at least the STAR framework– Situation or Task Action Result. Look at the person’s background or people’s background on LinkedIn that you’re going to be meeting with, and then calibrate your answers to what they may want to know. An HR person is going to want to know something different than a hiring manager. Right?
