People Come. People Go. | Career Angles

I was listening to an old podcast of mine from 2011. There is a segment on the show that spoke about social media. Some of the services I mentioned disappeared years ago.

People come. People go.

They join you for a while and then leave.

We stay connected to our family when our children move on; we celebrate their successes and try to help them at times a failure or struggle.

Often, we push everyone else aside. I know I do that sometimes.

People come. People go.

Our memories stay with us of where they were in life at the time we were with them.

Networking is often the process of staying in contact with the people who go.

Doing that can be a career changer.

People come. People go.
