I lived in the Northeast most of my life and summer was always a time lightning storms. Maybe you live in Florida or elsewhere where it is common for thunder and lightning to show up at certain times of the year.
During those times as the storm would approach, I would find a place to hide rather they get rained on. I would hide rather than put myself in the position of being at risk for low lightning striking something that was near me. I would stay indoors and hide.
It feels like lightning and thunder storms have hit us because I’m inside all the time looking out what the weather is.
Like summer storms, we don’t know when they will pass but they will.
These complicated times shall also pass but not as soon as we want.
Like with the summer storm our impatience makes it harder.
I want the lightning and thunder to go away.
I want to return to normal and be able to walk and drive and see people again.
Many of you miss going to work and sitting with the same people that you used to despise (maybe it wasn’t despise. Maybe you just tolerated them).
You will see them again and go back to the way it was again . . . But not soon enough.
