Why Does HR Seem to Hate You?

Hi I’m Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. People hire me for no BS job search advice and career coaching globally, because I make the process of finding work and succeeding in it much easier.

CNBC carried an article on its website, I’ll have a link to it in the show notes, talking about new collar jobs. Jobs that don’t require a degree yet require a lot of skill for them in healthcare, engineering, technology and software. And people get entry into these roles through continuing education courses, online classes, certification programs, and boot camps.

Now, think of this as being the tech equivalent of vocational training. What matters most is having the actual experience or training that justifies you being hired. And federal data supports this. Trade school students are more likely to be employed after school t

Now, I’m not saying that you should not get a degree, I want to be absolutely clear about it. But if you’re not on that path right now, this gives you an opportunity to get training in particular fields in technology, healthcare, and other areas, through boot camps and coding classes and self training that you might not otherwise pursue.

So I hope you found this helpful for yourself or maybe someone in your family. I’m Jeff Altman. Again, there’s going to be a link in the show notes to the source article on
