Today's question. I've applied to many jobs. No interviews. What am I doing wrong? It's actually very easy to answer this question even knowing nothing about the person and what they do for a living. The formula that you look at as a recruiter is, if you're not getting interviews, there's something wrong with your resume. If you're getting interviews and not being invited back, well, you don't interview as well as you think you do. If you getting first interviews and invitations for seconds but you're not getting offers are getting invited back there's something wrong with how you're dealing with the more senior individual. So following the logic here, this person sending out a lot of resumes and they're not getting results. Or they're visiting firms or their stopping by and they're not presenting themselves well. . . That's really what it comes down to. The person's resume is flawed. They're submitting it for jobs they may not be qualified for. I can't be sure what the specific is but if someone tells me they said that a lot of resumes and they are not getting results, it's always the resume. So that's my best advice here. If you have any comments, the message below. Thanks for watching.
