I'm Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter.. Here's the question is there a reason
why companies don't respond after an application is sent isn't it better to
know whether you're accepted or rejected rather than not receive any response
Understand, there's a dichotomy between the two questions.
Why don't they respond and I want to know the reason why they don't respond
is they're concerned about getting into a back-and-forth discussion where you
justify why you are qualified but your resume didn't make a case and that all
takes time your job is to demonstrate your fit for the role in the resume
because once you're applying that's the route that you've taken I don't believe
that's the best way. I believe that your best way is from networking to the
hiring manager being introduced by someone who knows that person and thus
cutting the line but if you're looking for the reason why they don't respond to
question is a perfect explanation for it.. They don't want to have that discussion.
it's a time waster they don't have time it's not just this job and you that's
involved it's all the jobs they're recruiting for and all the people who
are applying that they have to deal with but I can do this
"I know I can do this," and their behavior sends the message that they don't
believe that that's true and you didn't make a case for this and they just don't
have the time. I'm Jeff Altman. Hope you found this helpful. My website is Go there. Go exploring. There's much more there to
