I just started a couple of weeks ago, but I have been offered a better job. How can I quit this job without hard feelings from my boss? I promised her I would work holidays and now I feel really flaky to just quit…This is my first job so I am really inexperienced.

So comforting, I hope this helps. I’m talking to my boss today.
Good luck and let me know how the conversation turns out . . . and breathe! It will be fine.
I’m really nervous, I recently got the job but I dread going to work. I don’t feel comfortable, it’s just not the right job for me. While I was in training I already knew I wasn’t going to like it. ?

It may not feel this way but life is short and there is no reason to waste it doing work you loathe.
You’re right, I spoke to the assistant manager but he didn’t seem much help. All he told me was that I’ll be fine, that I’ll get used to it. But I don’t want them to put me in a different position. Thank you so much again. I appreciate it.
Good luck with the resignation. What can they do? Yell? That proves you should leave!

Jeff Altman okay I did it, I explained to him and he seemed understanding. I coukd tell in the look of his eyes that he was a bit sad. But thanks to your advice I was able to have the confidence.
You did it despite of your fear. Good for you. You looked for support, found it (my video and me) and did nwhat you knew you needed to do. That is something you can take into your future.
