Employer Branding: Do You Know Why They Contact You?

One of the ways to build an employer brand is to pay attention to what a job applicant’s experience is. How did they find you, for example? Where and when did they apply? And in applying how long does it take for you to respond to their application?

Measuring a variety of pieces of data is very helpful, including, do you ghost people at the end when they’re being rejected or do you send them a courteous letter that basically says something to the effect of ‘One of the most difficult things we have to do is to let someone know that they’ve been rejected. Unfortunately, that’s the case with you.’

Sending a letter like that shows a degree of empathy and compassion. What sort of communication did people have with this person?
