“Before enlightenment; chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment; chop wood, carry water.”

If you do your job well, things may not change on the outside but everything may change on the inside.

Complaining will change your circumstances. The change comes from within, whether that is for from better decisions and choices or gradual acceptance.

If you don’t like the work, do it anyway. After all a problem may exist at the next organization, too.

There is no nirvana at work. Every firm has its problems.
