The Easiest Way to Negotiate a Higher Salary for Yourself

Four ways to spot potential racism in an environment. The first one is, of course, lack of diversity in the company, in the group, whatever it is that you’re interviewing with. The fact that there’s no diversity in the organization given US population. . . It’s pretty striking.  Next, if they have a dismissive attitude early in the conversation. Like they’ve spoken with you for five minutes, and then they’re not paying attention anymore, that could be a signal. A lack of communication. If the hiring manager is unresponsive or vague in their communication and answering your questions, that could be a signal of it. And of course, questions about your personal life.
