This is a great question that I wanted to answer. “Why do some recruiters or employers constantly repost job?”

Now, you have to understand, from the recruiter’s perspective, what are they trying to do? Fill a job. When I hear the word, “re-post,” I think of a job board, or maybe, LinkedIn.

Let's look at how ads appear on a website. It doesn't matter what job board or website it is. Let's look at how it appears.

When the ad is placed, it's at the top of the list, right? When a new ad comes in, they get pushed further down. The result winds up being that by the time it winds up on page 3, no one ever sees it and the ad response dips dramatically.

So what re-posting does is really very simple. It gets it back to the top of the keywords, becomes much more visible and, thus, people who are searching, new people who are searching for positions, will see that ad versus by the time it's on page 5, you might as well consider it consider invisible. It is never going to be seen it all, right?

So from the employer's perspective, from the recruiters perspective, what they are trying to do is to get visibility because the job still open. Definitely apply. If you have applied previously, what it should tell you is they are not completely satisfied with the ad responses so far and are trying to pull more people it.

So, again, from their perspective, they’re trying to fill a job and they are trying to get visibility for their job listing good it is called the call. I messaged over and this 1 is by recirculating it back to the top and it makes perfect sense if you look at it from their point of view.
